Healthcare startup Medfin raises Series A round led by HealthXCapital, Blume Ventures

Date posted: Friday 25 December 2020

Healthcare startup Medfin said on Thursday it had raised an undisclosed Series A funding round led by Singapore-based HealthXCapital and Blume Ventures. Japan’s Dream Incubator and existing investor Axilor — which had seed-funded the company in March 2019 — also participated in the round. The startup said that even though COVID-19 has accelerated the adoption of daycare surgeries, the shift actually began long before the pandemic. Since the lockdowns, Medfin says it has ramped up operations, and is tracking a 4X growth over the last year.
