Legal-tech startup Lawyered raised an undisclosed amount of funding led by Angel investors from US, Canada and UK during a bridge round. The angel investor in this round were Saby Waraich, former professor at University of Phoenix and former senior information systems manager at City of Portland; Sujinder Sahni, senior information technology consultant at IT office, government of Saskatchewan, Canada; along with Ashish Jasraj, head of Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) Securities, Potters Bar, England. Speaking on this occasion, Himanshu Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Lawyered, stated: “We will dedicate a majority of the fresh funds to improve the technology features including artificial intelligence (AI)-based super bots and discovery tools to boost engagement on Lawyered.”
