Freshwater fish and seafood supply chain platform Captain Fresh has raised $2.3 million in a funding round led by Ankur Capital, as it looks to invest in technologies like computer vision, Internet of things, bots, data analytics, and expand into new markets. Incubate Fund India and other Silicon Valley-based angel investors also participated in the funding round. Captain Fresh is building a supply chain by bringing in intelligence for demand-supply matching, enabling e-auctions for sourcing, standardising supplies and maintaining digital traceability systems.
