Bangalore-based online grocery delivery startup Ninjacart has raised about $4.2 million from venture debt firm Trifecta Capital. The funding comes almost seven months after the startup raised $89.5 million from New York-investment firm Tiger Global Management as part of its $100-million Series C funding round in April this year. Founded in 2015, NinjaCart connects farmers to end retailers such as grocery stores, supermarkets and restaurants, which buy fruits and vegetables. It also counts Accel (US), Switzerland’s Syngeta Ventures, and South Korean private equity firm Neoplux among its investors.
