Flipkart cofounder Sachin Bansal invested Rs 25 crore in Chaitanya India Finance, a micro-finance company run by Chaitanya Rural Intermediation Developments Services. The Bengaluru-based microfinance company, founded in 2009, currently operates across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Bihar, providing joint liability group loans along with financial literacy programmes to rural communities across the three states.
