Private equity firm Samara Capital is said to have acquired Nature’s Essence Pvt. Ltd, a maker and seller of cosmetics and hair care products, for Rs.200 crore ($29 million). Samara Capital has picked up a 65 per cent stake in the Delhi-based company at an enterprise valuation of around Rs.300 crore. Through this acquisition, the PE firm is looking to tap into the growing personal care market in India.
