Vishal Gondal, founder of wearable devices startup GoQii, has invested an undisclosed amount in Bengaluru-based gaming venture nCore Games. nCore has also partnered with Finnish video game developer Rovio Entertainment, which is best known for the popular Angry Birds mobile game franchise, and is in talks with other publishers across the globe. The company’s focus will be on the mid-core category of games, a segment which counts phenomenons, such as PUBG, Clash of Clans and Clash Royale that have found tremendous success across the globe.
