San Francisco and Bengaluru-based developer tooling startup Hasura has raised $25 million in Series B funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, along with participation from existing investors Vertex Ventures US, Nexus Venture Partners, Strive VC and SAP.iO Fund. John Thomspon, chairman of the board at Microsoft, also participated in the round as an angel investor. Hasura said it will utilise the fresh funding to accelerate its hiring and will invest in open source and commercial product development.
